This article investigates emerging biomarkers in cancer cachexia so that their roles in driving the cancer disease process can be better understood with the goal of ultimately preventing the nutritional status decline experienced by so many cancer patients 

This article focuses on quality of life and appetite of patients with advanced cancer. It links these aspects of  the cancer disease process (cachexia) and biomarkers with a goal to improving our understanding on how to mitigate compromising quality of life and appetite in cancer patients.
